All You Need To Know About This Week's Violent Video Game Case In The U.S. Supreme Court

So apparently there is a supreme court case this week (more like tomorrow, tuesday) involving video games.



Confused? Well back in 2005 a child psychologist by the name of Leland Yee was on a surge to to try a criminalize the sale of "really violent" video games and even submitted a bill that would fine retailers for selling these games to kids, and last year California Govenator Arnold Schwarzenegger had signed that bill and put it into California law, but was stopped because the Video Game industry sued and blocked it from going through.

Honestly, stores enforce the "Rated-M" games and ask for ID before purchasing. Why does this need to be a law? Not only is it pointless it also hurts business! I don't want my Halo, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil, or Dead Space treated like a fucking Hustler magazine! And if they want to put this ban or whatever they want to call it, why not on movies or books, or some other things? Because I can go read say Machiavelli's "The Prince" and implement all his ideas on society that everyone is only after their own ass and will do whatever it takes to place themselves ahead of other, even if it means killing some other people in the process!

Regardless from the fact that the Video Game industry has been going swell and they've been on a winning streak on the courts in other states trying to implement it, the Supreme Court decides it wants to hear the case, of all cases they should be hearing (such as the on gay rights to finally shut everyone up).
